Florian Thauvin in high demand

Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are among clubs showing interest in Marseille hotshot Florian Thauvin, L’Equipe has learned.

The 24-year-old did well to kick-start his career at Stade Velodrome after a disappointing spell with Newcastle United, bagging 15 league goals last season.

Thauvin has since continued the rich vein of form and he has been on of Ligue 1’s most productive players this term with 8 goals and 7 assists.

As a result, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid have been showing interest in the attacking midfielder and they could make their moves in the summer.

Thauvin is also expected to change his agent in February 2018 and hire Jean-Pierre Bernes who could help facilitate his proposed switch to Allianz Arena.
