Foden linked with Borussia Dortmund switch

Borussia Dortmund are eyeing a move for Manchester City teenager Phil Foden, according to the Mail Online.

The eighteen-year-old is yet to agree a new deal with the Citizens, which could see him leave the club for as little as £175k.

Dortmund signed fellow prospect Jadon Sancho, who has settled into life in the Bundesliga well not least in the last two weeks, scoring four goals in his last four appearances having made his senior England debut earlier in the month.

Since breaking into the City first team, Foden has racked up just seventeen appearances though he would be likely to secure more regular first team football should he secure a switch abroad.

He scored his first senior goal in last month’s 3-0 win at Oxford United in the third round of the EFL Cup, and will hope for another opportunity as Pep Guardiola’s side host Fulham in the fourth round on Thursday evening.
