Fofana asks for Leicester exit

According to a recent report from The Guardian, Wesley Fofana has asked for Leicester City to allow him to leave.

The Fofana saga has been a pretty long-running one throughout the course of the summer transfer window thus far. The 21-year-old has been the apple of the eye for Chelsea and despite weeks of interest, there’s been nothing confirmed as of this writing.

Alas, ever since joining the Foxes two years ago, it felt like he was the kind of player destined for even bigger things.

Thomas Tuchel hasn’t been shy in making it known that he wants to bring in new faces. Fofana still has a lot of development that’s required to turn him into a consistent, world class player.

The youngster has a few weeks left to make up his mind regarding his future but based on what we’ve seen thus far, it’d be strange to see him wearing a Leicester shirt entering September.
