Forest reject third Antonio bid

Nottingham Forest have rejected a third bid for winger Michail Antonio, according to Sky Sports.

The latest approach for the twenty-five year old is understood to have come from Forest’s fierce rivals Derby County while West Bromwich Albion and another unnamed Premier League outfit are also monitoring the situation.

Antonio moved to the City Ground from Sheffield Wednesday last summer, and has so far racked up fifty-two appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring eighteen goals.

This season, he already has three in three, including Saturday’s winner against Rotherham United though he was left out of the match-day squad for Tuesday’s goalless draw with Charlton Athletic, adding to speculation that he could be sold.

Dougie Freedman’s side have taken four points from their opening three Championship fixtures and next travel to the Scot’s former side Bolton Wanderers, where the away win can be backed at a price of 2/1.
