(GSM) – Diego Forlan has made a U-turn and won’t rule out a move to the Premier League any longer.
The Uruguay striker was already linked with Tottenham Hotspur and his performances at the World Cup have added to that.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp already expressed his admiration for the Atletico Madrid hitman but the former Manchester United man rejected the idea at the time, maintaining that he would “never” return to play in England.
However, it appears he has changed his mind as he insists that he would consider a “good offer”.
“They have to be a good offer (sic) and we have to see,” Forlan told reporters.
“I am very happy in Madrid and the way the city and the team are always with me.
“(But) you never know. If it is a good offer we have to see if the team wants me to leave or not and then we have to sit and talk.”
