Atletico Madrid forward has added fuel to speculations linking him with a move to Inter, having revealed that he has received an offer from the Neroazzurri.
The Italian giants have lined up Forlan to replace Russia-bound Samuel Eto’o and the player has now confirmed contact with the Neroazzurri.
“I have received an offer from the Neroazzurri. It would be like a dream come true to move to Milan and play for Inter,” Forlan told Turkish newspaper Haberturk.
The Uruguayan reveals that he could be interested in a move to Turkey.
“I had no contacts with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce or Besiktas, let alone an offer, but I cannot deny that Galatasaray are a great team.
“There’s not much difference between Turkey and the rest of Europe financially. Turkey is a great country and it would be nice to play there some day.”
