Forlan hints at summer move

Atletico Madrid forward Diego Forlan revealed that he would move to Serie A if the right offer came along.

The Uruguayan forward is widely tipped to leave Atletico at the end of the season and he admits he is prepared to listen to offers.

“I do not exclude that if a good offer arrives for me and the club in the future, a proposal not only good economically, but from a top team with perspective, I would accept it,” Forlan told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Forlan was linked with a number of clubs in January, but Atletico somehow managed to keep hold of their star player, although los Colchoneros could succumb under pressure next summer.

The Uruguayan is reportedly unsettled at Vicente Calderon, as witnessed by his latest statements, with Juventus and Inter likely to enter a real bidding war at the end of the season.
