In-form Newcastle 4/5 to win against relegation-threatened Queens Park Rangers

Competition: Premier League
Market: Newcastle to win against QPR
Odds: 4/5 @ Betfair

Newcastle have been in fantastic form of late, with the Magpies winning four consecutive Premier League games to find themselves two points off a Champions League place in the table. Alan Pardew’s men have beaten the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham during their surprise turnaround, and they will be confident of getting a result against a travel-sick Queens Park Rangers side this weekend.

The Hoops, managed by Harry Redknapp, have lost all five of their away games in the Premier League this season, and have the worst defensive record in the division (22). Rangers have scored just two goals on their travels, and with Newcastle having amassed eight points from their last four home games, Betfair are backing the Toon Army with odds of 4/5 to get all three points on Saturday.

A win for United could see them going fourth in the table depending on other results, while Queens Park Rangers could find themselves four points from safety if they lose. It’s a game the latter can ill-afford to lose given their current predicament, but recent form suggests a comfortable home win.
