Former Juventus star Mark Iuliano has had his two-year doping ban reduced to 22 months by the Italian Olympic committee anti-doping tribunal, CONI said on Monday.
The 35-year-old Iuliano tested positive for cocaine on June 1 this year following the Italian third division match between his side Ravenna and Cesena. His suspension started on July 3.
Iuliano, who played for Juventus from 1996 to 2004, earned 19 Italy caps and scored one goal for his country between 1999 and 2002. His high point at international level came in Italy's defeat by France in the final of Euro 2000, losing 2-1 in Rotterdam.
