Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier is open to a move to Arsenal, according to Sky Sports. Aurier is a free agent at the moment, with his contract at bitter North London rivals Tottenham mutually terminated on summer transfer deadline day.
Aurier wants to continue to play in the Premier League, and the Ivory Coast international would consider a move to Arsenal. The 28-year-old has offers from France, Russia and Turkey, but he would prefer to stay in England.
The Ivorian did not have the best of times at Tottenham, and it would be a surprise if Arsenal actually sign him. The Gunners signed Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna on summer transfer deadline day. The 22-year-old is a versatile defender who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back.
