Timothy Fosu-Mensah has penned a new deal with Manchester United, according to Sky Sports.
The defender’s new contract sees him committed to the club until 2020, while he has the option to extend for a further season.
He broke into the Red Devils’ first team under Louis van Gaal last season, racking up ten appearances in all competitions while his only outings so far under Jose Mourinho have come in the EFL Cup and Europa League and he has only been named in a league match-day squad once.
Internationally, the former Ajax trainee has represented the Netherlands at every level – winning his first cap for the U21s in a 4-1 win over Cyprus earlier this month.
Fosu-Mensah could feature as Manchester United take on Fenerbache in the Europa League at Old Trafford on Thursday evening, and the home win can be backed at a price of 1/2.
