According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Timothy Fosu-Mensah has arrived in Germany ahead of his proposed move to Bayer Leverkusen.
The Manchester United defender is set to make the switch on a £1.8 million permanent deal with the contract lasting four years, taking him through until mid-2024. Ajax, Hertha Berlin and Marseille have all been in the mix over the course of the last few weeks, but Leverkusen seem to be the ones who have done enough to earn his signature.
His deal at Old Trafford is set to expire during the upcoming summer transfer window with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer being happy to let him leave in the name of earning more first team minutes elsewhere.
Whether or not we see any more first team departures within United’s squad remains to be seen, but it does feel as if this is going to be a busy window for the Red Devils.
