France welcome Romania to the Stade de France tonight for their opening Euro 2016 clash, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to boost their hopes of progressing from Group A.
Les Blues come into this summer’s tournament off the back of four consecutive wins, having beaten the Netherlands, Russia, Cameroon and Scotland. Didier Deschamps’ side are in fantastic shape to get off the mark with aplomb, and will further fancy their chances of victory with how inconsistent Romania have been.
The visitors have failed to win four of their last six games, most notably being held by DR Congo and suffering a defeat to the Ukraine. They have picked up just one win from four ahead of their clash with France, and might struggle as the visiting side as Les Blues are in their own backyard with a considerably stronger squad.
