Competition: International Friendly
Market: France to win against Netherlands
Odds: 6/5 @ Coral

Netherlands welcome France to the Amsterdam ArenA for tonight’s international friendly, and this evening’s meeting is expected to be an emotional affair following the death of Dutch legend Johan Cruyff. The Oranje aren’t in a good way of late, and could come unstuck to Les Blues given the gulf in class between the two nations.

France are taking their international friendlies incredibly seriously, with manager Didier Deschamps likely to name the strongest possible side to get a result. He needs to see how his team are shaping up as home nation for this summer’s European Championships, and Les Blues are among the favourites to go all the way.

Netherlands failed to qualify for the tournament, and their side has been in pieces for the last two years. The quality has significantly worsened while France have continued to improve, and in truth the Oranje aren’t going to lose sleep should they come unstuck at the Amsterdam ArenA tonight.

As a result, Coral are giving odds of 6/5 for France to win away to the struggling Dutch national team. Deschamps’ men are desperate to build up some momentum for the European Championships, and with Les Blues having won five of their last six friendlies, they should have no problems tonight.
