Competition: World Cup
Market: France to win against Nigeria
Odds: 8/15 @ Coral
After topping Group F with 7 points, France have Nigeria standing in their way for a place on the World Cup quarter-finals this summer. Les Blues have been very solid in the tournament so far, conceding in only one of their group games en route to the last 16.
For their clash against the African outfit, France will have influential midfielder Yohan Cabaye back in the first-team at the expense of Morgan Schneiderlin, who deputised in his absence.
Against all odds, Nigeria went through in a group which contained Argentina and Bosnia-Herzegovina, but their journey is likely to end in the last 16. France have been very strong this summer and should be no match for the Super Eagles.
As a result, Coral are giving odds of 8/15 for France to see past Nigeria when the two sides meet tonight. The Africans do have some talent in the form of Peter Odemwingie and Emmanuel Emenike, but it doesn’t compare to France’s Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and Mathieu Valbuena.
