Ajax manager Frank De Boer has been increasingly linked with a potential move to Tottenham this summer, despite the London club denying having made any approach.

De Boer has even been quoted saying he will decide his future after the current season comes to a close, but he greatly praised the football club – calling them a ‘sleeping giant’.

As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 4/7 for De Boer to be the next Tottenham manager. Although Tim Sherwood is the current head coach and has another year to run on his deal, it’s thought Spurs will look to a more continental figure to take charge next season.

Sherwood boasts a decent record since he’s been in charge, however, and he’s already complained about the number of managers who have been touting themselves for the job in the summer despite him currently remaining in charge.

But De Boer has won four consecutive league titles in the Netherlands with Ajax and is now seeking a new challenge that is said to have greatly interested Tottenham.
