Some of France’s leading clubs plan to do some summer shopping in England, according to France Football.
Rather than only selling their best players to top European sides, several Ligue 1 clubs have big ambitions ahead of the summer transfer window.
Reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up moves for Alexis Sanchez, Vitolo and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whereas free-spending Marseille have been linked with Moussa Sissoko, Steve Mandanda, Yohan Cabaye and Olivier Giroud.
Set to earn around €100 million from the sales of Alexandre Lacazette and Corentin Tolisso, Lyon plan to make a move on Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, with Nicolas Pepe also on their radar.
Current leaders Monaco are widely expected to sell several star players who have enjoyed tremendous campaigns this term, while their top target appears to be Anderlecht playmaker Youri Tielemans.
All of these clubs will have money to spend at the end of the season and they are expected to play their part in making Ligue 1 even more attractive to players from abroad.
