Ligue 1 sides Marseille and Saint Etienne are locked in the battle for Evian full-back Daniel Wass, reports La Provence.
Following a very poor start to the season, OM are on the lookout for new reinforcements and the Danish footballer is reportedly one of the first names on their hit-list.
With new boss Marcelo Bielsa switching to a three-man defence, Marseille officials see Wass as a perfect solution for the wing-back position, especially since he can play on either side.
Meanwhile, Saint Etienne have joined the race as well, with les Verts in need of a right-sided defender after Francois Clerc picked up an injury.
Daniel Wass has largely impressed since joining Evian from Brondby and he has already bagged two goals this season, taking his total tally to 17.
But, given that les Roses are one of the main candidates for the drop this term, chances are he will be interested in moving clubs this summer.
