Inter Milan midfielder Ruben Botta is being linked with a summer move to French Ligue 1, La Gazzetta dello Sport can reveal.
The attacking midfielder is currently on loan at Chievo, but he has failed to secure regular first team football with the Flying Donkeys.
Botta has only started four league matches since joining in the summer, while making another eight substitute appearances.
He is, therefore, set to return to Giuseppe Meazza at the end of the season, but it appears he won’t be staying there for much longer.
With quite a few high-profile players in front of the Argentine in the pecking order, Inter might consider cashing in on the 25-year-old, who has a long list of admirers in South America, with Boca Juniors, River Plate and Sao Paulo showing interest among others.
But, with Botta eager to remain in Europe, chances are that Ligue 1 giants Monaco and Lyon will be vying for his signature.
