French starlet hints at January exit

Auxerre forward Paul-Georges Ntep has made it clear that he is leaving his current employers in the winter transfer window.

Following his side’s 2-0 victory over Niort on Friday, the youngster confirmed his plans to leave the club via his Instagram account.

“Last match at l’abbe Deschamps,” Ntep wrote.

The 21-year-old has largely impressed in French Ligue 2 this season, scoring 6 goals in 15 league appearances, catching the eye of some top European clubs in the process.

According to Le 10 Sport, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Marseille and Saint Etienne are battling for his signature, with the talented forward yet to make a decision on his next destination.

Ntep recently hinted that he was ready to move abroad amidst speculations linking him with a switch to the Emirates, but he did not rule out staying in France either.

The striker has spent his entire career up to date at Auxerre, but everything suggests he will be leaving the French giants in the January transfer window.
