Ajax midfield sensation Frenkie de Jong seems to have made a final choice about his future.
In a report coming from the Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf, the highly-rated starlet has picked Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City.
French champions sent a delegation to Amsterdam and deployed their first-team stars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to personally convince Frenkie de Jong to move to Paris, it is being reported.
Mbappe seems to have played a crucial role in getting a deal done following his public comments about De Jong. The Frenchman was impressed with the Dutchman during their recent meeting in respective national sides and prodded PSG to pursue De Jong.
A deal is said to have been reached this week between the two clubs as well with reports claiming that PSG will pay €75 million to get their hands on De Jong during the summer transfer window.
Ajax director of sports Marc Overmars confirmed the French heavyweights came to visit the club but refused to confirm the agreement has been made.
