Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has handed in a transfer request as he wants to leave the club in the January window, reports Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old has a deal until the end of the season at the Emirates, but he is eager to quit the Gunners in search of first team football as soon as possible.
Sky Sports understands that two unnamed Premiership sides are ready to make a move, as well as quite a few Championship teams.
Emmanuel Frimpong has come through the youth ranks at Arsenal and was regarded as one of the hottest prospects in club’s youth academy, but a succession of serious injuries hindered his progress.
While enjoying loan spells with Wolves, Charlton and Fulham, the Ghana international failed to play himself back into the first team plans of Arsene Wenger.
He is now set to leave the club for greener pastures, but there is every chance he will be staying in the Premier League.
