Fulham 21/20 to beat Bristol City in Saturday’s Championship contest

Competition: Championship

Market: Fulham win

Odds: 21/20 @ Bet 365

Reigniting their promotion ambitions, Fulham will look to close the deficit on the top-two when they make the trip to the City Ground on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, while Bristol City may have managed to grab a scrappy point away at Millwall last weekend, it does not cover what has been a worrying rut for the Robins. Hit with three consecutive defeats against Huddersfield, West Brom, and Leeds, Lee Johnson’s men have lost their play-off status and are enduring their worst run since opening the New Year. Continuing to show some rather glaring issues at the back, there is no doubt that fans around the City Ground will have growing concerns over their side’s problems on home soil. Including a 3-0 hammering against the Baggies a fortnight ago, Johnson’s men were also hit with a 3-1 defeat against Birmingham at home last month.

As for the visitors, despite a worrying start to February, Fulham have really bounced back in some style and impressed in their 2-0 win over play-off contenders Preston last weekend. Now landing back-to-back victories and dreaming of securing a Premier League return this year, Scott Parker’s men have lost just one of their last seven Championship appearances. Also unbeaten on the road since opening the New Year, there is no doubt that Fulham find the mood in their camp once again on the rise. Led by leading marksman Aleksandar Mitrovic who has recorded a stunning 31 goals for club and country since opening the 2019/2020 campaign, we’re backing Fulham to make it three in three this weekend.
