Fulham 23/20 to beat Norwich in Wednesdays Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Fulham to beat Norwich

Odds: 23/20 @ Bet365

Although Slaviša Jokanović’s Fulham side may have all but guaranteed their spot in the playoffs this season, the Cottagers will still be desperate to mount a late charge for the automatic positions. On Friday afternoon, Fulham will travel to Carrow Road

Despite being tipped by many as one of the playoff hopefuls at the start of the season Daniel Farke’s Norwich side have failed to improve on their eighth-place finish last season and an inconsistent year now leaves them sat outside of the top half of the table. The Canaries now sit 10 points adrift of the top six and will already be making plans for life outside the Premier League once again. With Farke’s side only picking up one win in their last eight matches, they now face a Fulham side who they have only managed to beat once in the sides last 20 meetings.

As for Slaviša Jokanović’s high-flying Fulham side, after picking up a point against QPR before the international break, the Cottagers have extended their unbeaten run to 16 Championship games in a row, the best in Fulham’s history. While Fulham may sit seven points adrift of Cardiff in the race for automatic promotion, Fulham hold a 10 point buffer from dropping out the playoff positions. Boasting the second best-attacking stats in the Championship this year, their recent fine run of form can be best epitomized by Newcastle loanee Aleksandar Mitrovic, the striker has seven goals in his last six appearances for Fulham.
