Fulham and Millwall to draw in Fridays Championship clash 12/5

Competition: Championship

Market: Fulham and Millwall to draw

Odds: 12/5 @ Bet365

Two teams that could very likely have their next meeting in the Premier League, on Friday night, playoff hopefuls Millwall will welcome a Fulham side battling it out for the second automatic promotion spot.

For Neil Harris’ Millwall side, after a stellar second half of the season the Lions still remain firmly in contention to steal one of the lucrative playoff positions come May. With just three games left of this Championship season, the South London club hold just a point buffer over Derby but have arguably become this years in-form and surprise package. Coming off the back of a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United last time out, the Lions have now not lost in their last 18 Championship appearances, a run that stems back to New Years day. Still in scintillating form in the final third, Millwall have scored in all bar one of their matches in 2018.

As for Slaviša Jokanović’s high-flying Fulham side, the Cottagers are coming off the back of their own 1-1 draw against Brentford and are now unbeaten in their last 17 outings, the best in the West London clubs history. With a win on Friday briefly seeing the Whites jump back into second place, Fulham, like their hosts, have also been in brilliant form in front of goal. Their recent attacking success can be put down to the success of on-loan Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Serbian international now has 12 in his last 12 since moving to West London in January.
