Fulham are interested in signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph. It has been reported that the promoted club want to secure the services of the midfielder on a season-long loan deal.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is open to letting the 24-year-old England international midfielder leave on loan before the transfer window closes this month. Loftus-Cheek has recovered from his injury problems and is now fully fit, but there is intense competition for places in the Blues’ midfield, and the Englishman is going to struggle for playing time this season.
According to WhoScored, Loftus-Cheek made two starts and five substitite appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea last season, while back in 2018-19, he made six starts and 18 substitute appearances in the league and made eight starts and three substitute appearances in the Europa League for the London club.
