Fulham are interested in signing Siriki Dembele from Peterborough United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun (print edition, page 61, October 18, 2020). It has been reported that the Premier League club are monitoring the development of the 24-year-old, but the London outfit are yet to determine whether he is ready to take the step-up from League One to the top flight of English football.
Dembele can play as a winger or as a striker and has established himself as an important player for Peterborough. According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has made four starts and one substitute appearance in League One for Posh, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
Fulham are playing in the Premier League this season after winning promotion from the Championship via the playoffs at the end of the 2019-20 campaign. The Cottagers are second from bottom in the league table with just one point from five matches.
