According to Tuttosport, Fulham are one of the clubs who are interested in signing Matteo Darmian. The 29 year old is said to prefer the idea of a move back to Italy, with Inter Milan being very interested, but they were unable to get a deal done in the summer and will likely attempt to do so once again in the January transfer window.
The Cottagers, on the other hand, appear to be a little bit desperate when it comes to securing a few top names in the upcoming window. They’ve struggled to get going so far this season in the Premier League, although the belief is that Claudio Ranieri is going to be the man to turn the ship around.
Manchester United will obviously have something to say about all of this, though, and while they don’t seem to consider Darmian much of a priority, that could all change when push comes to shove.
