Fulham looking at Musacchio

Fulham are eyeing a move for Milan defender Mateo Musacchio, according to the Metro.

The London outfit are looking to strengthen their back line after a less than ideal start to life back in the Premier League.

Fellow defenders Calum Chambers and Alfie Mawson arrived in the summer, but they have been unable to stop the Cotttagers from shipping twenty-one goals – the most in the division.

They were part of a £100m spending free undertaken by the club to re-establish themselves among the elite, and the club are ready to spend again once the transfer window reopens.

Musacchio moved to Milan from Villareal in the summer of 2017 and has since racked up twenty-nine appearances in all competitions with his one and only goal for Italian giants so far coming in a 3-2 Europa League win over Rijeka last September.

Internationally, he has been capped six times for Argentina.
