Fulham set for another shopping spree

The Mail Online understand that Fulham will spend again once the transfer window reopens in a bid to remain in the Premier League.

The Cottagers laid out over £100m on new players in the summer with the likes of Aleksander Mitrovic, Andre Schurrle and Alfie Mawson among those who joined.

However, they have taken just five points from their opening ten league games, conceding seventeen goals – the joint most in the division.

They have gone seven games without a win in the league – a run that includes defeats in each of their last four games and Slavisa Jokanovic now the favourite to be the next manager to leave his position at 6/4.

The former Chelsea player has had a new deal on the table for some weeks, but is yet to agree terms.

Next up for the London side is a trip to bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield Town with both sides currently odds on to be relegated to the second tier.
