Premier League club Fulham are set to sign West Bromwich Albion midfielder Jonathan Greening on a season’s loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson had a four million pounds bid for Greening rejected earlier this month and the 30-year-old handed in a transfer request in an attempt to persuade his Championship team to sell.
Hodgson has finally got his man, subject to Greening passing a medical, after Albion opted to let the former Manchester United trainee leave the Hawthorns.
“The two clubs have agreed a deal on undisclosed terms and the move is now subject to Greening passing a medical,” a statement on Fulham’s website confirmed on Thursday.
