Fulham want Manchester United centre-back Phil Jones

Fulham are interested in signing Phil Jones from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. Newcastle United and Watford are also keen on securing the services of the 29-year-old defender.

Jones has had injury problems at United and has not played a single competitive football match for 19 months. The 29-year-old, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, is pretty much out of the United team at the moment, and an offer for him could see the Red Devils sell him this summer.

While Jones is a very good defender who hs a fair few years left in him at the highest level, injuries have seriously affected him over the years. It would be best for the Englishman if he moves to another club where he would play on a regular basis and get his career back on track.
