(GSM) – Primera Division newcomers Hércules have made a bid to secure the signing of Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop.
The Hungary keeper, who impressed during a late loan spell at Manchester City, is searching for first-team football.
Fulop is the number two goalkeeper at the Stadium of Light with the injured Craig Gordon serving between the sticks.
Meanwhile, Fulop’s position has been questioned after Black Cats manager Steve Bruce declared his interest in signing England keeper and free agent David James.
And while the Black Cats are ready to sell, former club manager and current Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane has also tabled an offer earlier this week.
It remains to be seen if the 27-year-old will move back to work with Keane or be tempted with a switch to the Primera Division.
