Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini is set to pledge his future to Napoli, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The highly rated footballer began the season as a first choice striker as Gonzalo Higuain left the club, but he was also linked with a summer exit as the Azzurri made a move for several high-profile forwards.
Napoli, however, decided to reject an offer from Everton and few other proposals for the 24-year-old footballer, which clearly suggests they believe he has a long-term future at Stadio San Paolo.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Gabbiadini will be offered a new and improved deal by the club, and it is now up to him to prove his worth.
Gabbiadini did well to score 13 goals in just 12 Serie A starts while at Napoli, albeit making another 31 substitute appearances. He has so far earned 6 Italy caps, but was not included in the Euro 2016 squad.
