Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini will not be leaving Italian Serie A in the summer, according to his agent.
The player, who is co-owned with Juventus, has largely impressed this season, helping the Bluecerchiati to one of their best starts to a league campaign in recent years.
He has since been linked with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, but it appears the 22-year-old has no plans to move abroad.
Gabbiadini’s agent has suggested that his client will either return to Juventus or join another Serie A side next summer.
“Until June he will remain with Sampdoria, he is doing very well with Mihajlovic,” agent Silvio Pagliari told Sportitalia.
“If he is not good enough for Juve in June, we will look for another Italian side.”
Manolo Gabbiadini moved to Sampdoria last summer after impressing while on loan with Bologna and he went on to score 8 goals in 34 league matches during the first season at Marassi.
The forward has been even more impressive this term, netting four times in eight Serie A outings, and he is widely expected to return into international reckoning in the near future.
