Gabriel Paulista Rumoured to Join Valencia

Arsenal defender Gabriel Paulista has penned a deal to exit Arsenal to join Valencia, who paid a reported fee of €11 million, according to El Desmarque.

This would end a three-year stint at the Emirates, where Gabriel did not feature as much as he’d hoped; it looks as if the 26-year-old Brazilian will make his return to Spain.

Gabriel made his name at Villarreal where he made a name for himself as a stellar defensive presence for The Yellow Submarine.

After Arsenal paid £11.5 million to nab him from the La Liga side, he arrived in North London in 2014 and only appeared in 64 matches since then.

Now Gabriel will come into a Los Che squad that is looking to fortify themselves on the defensive side of the ball.

Also, with the rumours that Ezekiel Garay is not long for the club, the young Brazilian looks like the right fit to replace the Argentine defender should he make an exit away from the Mestalla.
