Gael Kakuta set for Ligue 1 move

Chelsea youngster Gael Kakuta admits that he is on the verge of completing a loan move to Dijon.

The young midfielder will leave the Blues on loan in order to get some first team experience and it looks as though he has made his choice.

Even though Dijon boss Patrice Carteron recently revealed that Marseille and Olympiakos were also in the race, the player now reveals that his proposed move to Stade Gaston Gerard will go through after all.

“I made the choice to go to Dijon because I saw them play and they play good football,” Kakuta told the Canal Football Club television show.

“Coach Patrice Carteron convinced me. I hope it will be sorted in the next 24 hours. Talks are still going on.”
