Galatasaray are ready to rekindle their interest in AS Roma winger Gervinho, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Turkish giants were unsuccessful in their attempts to recruit the Ivorian in the summer transfer window, but they look ready to return for the highly rated footballer.
Namely, the 28-year-old has lost his place in the side following the arrival of Mohamed Salah and Iago Falque, and he may be ready to leave Stadio Olimpico unless the situation changes.
AS Roma would consider an outright sale or a loan deal with an option to buy, but only in case Gervinho does not play himself back into the first team plans of Rudi Garcia.
It was at Stadio Olimpico that the Ivory Coast hotshot kick-started his career after the disappointing spell in England, but he then suffered a major dip in form last term, netting just two times in 24 league outings.
