Turkish giants Galatasaray have moved to confirm that they are keen on Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.
The 30-year-old is clearly not in the first team plans of new head coach Ernesto Valverde and he is almost certain to leave in January.
The problem is there has not been too much interest in his services, but it seems that former club Galatasaray are ready to make their move.
It was club chairman Dursun Ozbek who recommended Arda Turan to the sporting department and now head coach Igor Tudor has given the all clear.
“It’s definitely a very good option, we have some injured players and Arda may be just what we need for the front line,” Tudor was quoted as saying.
Chances are that Barcelona will jump at the opportunity to offload the Turkey international considering that he only once made the matchday squad this season.
