Galatasaray failed to extend their perfect streak in the Turkish Super Lig, as the Istanbul side only managed a 1-1 draw with Eskisehirspor.

After Fenerbahce’s 1-2 win at Antalyaspor on Saturday, Galatasaray knew that they too needed a win in order to stay in shared first place.

Congolese striker Shabani Nonda found the target after 38 minutes but Eskisehirspor, who haven’t lost a single match this season, equalized through Mehmet Yilmaz in the 56th.

‘Fener’ no longer have to share their lead with a perfect 21 points from seven games. Galatasaray follow at two points, and Bursaspor are ‘the best of the rest’ at eight points from the leaders.
