AS understands that Galatasaray are weighing up move for Atletico Madrid playmaker Arda Turan.
After signing the likes of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder in January, the Turkish giants are determined to attract more high-profile players to Turk Telekom Arena.
According to AS, they have made their former player Arda Turan the number one target in the summer transfer window.
The same source has learned that president Unal Aysal is hoping a contract worth €3 million per campaign will persuade the highly rated midfielder to return to Istanbul.
The problem is Atletico are not even prepared to consider selling their prized asset, while the player is also reluctant to return to Galatasaray at this moment in time.
Since joining los Colchoneros two years back, the 26-year-old has amassed 65 La Liga appearances, scoring 8 goals and winning Europa League, European Super Cup and Copa del Rey trophies in the process.
