Galatasaray keen on Kurt Zouma

Turkish champions Galatasaray are hot on the trail of Chelsea stopper Kurt Zouma, according to Radio Monte Carlo.

The 23-year-old has so far failed to prove his worth at Stamford Bridge, but he largely impressed while on loan with Stoke City last term.

Zouma made a total of 34 Premier League appearances, establishing an excellent defensive partnership with Ryan Shawcross, who dubbed him one of the best defenders in the country.

With the player’s long-term future at Chelsea in doubt, Turkish giants Galatasaray have expressed their interest in signing the France international.

However, Zouma first wants to learn whether the Blues count on him for the new season before evaluating other proposals.
