Leeds United star Ezgjan Alioski will not join Galatasaray in the summer transfer window, according to Asist Analiz. It has been reported that although Galatasaray are in talks with five players, the Turkish giants are not planning to hold negotiations with the North Macedonia international, who is a winger by trade but has been deployed at left-back by Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
Alioski has been on the books of Leeds since 2017 and has been an important player for the team over the years. The 29-year-old has done well at left-back despite starting in that role after he arrived at Leeds. According to WhoScored, the former Lugano man has made 26 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at Leeds at the end of June, and it will be interesting to see if he signs a new deal with the Premier League club.
