Galatasaray have offered €8 million for Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra, AS has revealed.
The Turkish giants are keen on the Frenchman and have sent a formal bid to Real Madrid, but the offer was swiftly rejected as los Blancos want more money for the wantaway midfielder.
Even though Diarra is not in their first team plans, Real Madrid are holding out for €17 million, but it looks as though los Merengues will have to lower their asking price if they want to get rid of the unsettled player.
Diarra has already expressed his desire to leave and he asked Jose Mourinho not to travel to the North American tour.
Juventus, Milan, Tottenham and Manchester United have all shown interest in the combative midfielder, but none of the interested clubs are ready to match Real’s valuation of the player.
Galatasaray are expected to raise their initial bid, but that will still be some way short of Real’s asking price.
