Galatasaray have opened negotiations to sign Real Madrid midfielders Lassana Diarra and Hamit Altintop, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The two players are no longer in Jose Mourinho’s plans and they are hoping to leave the club in search of first team football.
Turkish giants Galatasaray are prepared to offer them an escape route from Santiago Bernabeu and El Mundo Deportivo claims they have already initiated the first contact with los Blancos.
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho traveled to Istanbul to sign an advertising contract and Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim took advantage of the opportunity to have a dinner with the Portuguese.
The experienced Turkish coach enquired about Lass Diarra and Hamit Altintop, the two players he would love to see at Galatasaray.
Terim is believed to have received a positive response from Mourinho and it’s now up to the Turkish club to persuade the two players their future lies at Turk Telekom Arena.
