Galatasaray beat Genclerbirligi 1-3 in Friday’s only Super Lig match and move into second place, at one point from leaders Trabzonspor.
Genclerbirligi did take the lead through Eser in the 26th minute but Lincoln equalised almost immediately. Milan Baros made it 1-2 in the 38th minute and another few minutes later, it was Turan to deliver the away side’s third and final goal.
Leaders Trabzonspor travel to face Bursaspor on Saturday, and could well restore the original four-point gap with Galatsaray.
Sivasspor, now third but second ahead of Galatasaray’s game, host bottom-of-the-table Hacettepe SK in a match that should really earn them three points.
