Galatasaray want Drogba plus £7million for Turan

Galatasaray have told Chelsea they can get Turkey international Arda Turan for £7million, provided they send Didier Drogba the other way.

The Turkish giants value their star player at £18million, meaning that they are prepared to pay £11million for Drogba, which is short of Chelsea’s valuation of the Ivorian.

However, this would be the perfect opportunity to get a great player without spending a lot of money, while getting rid of ageing Drogba at the same time.

Arda Turan is a Liverpool fan, but it is believed that he would accept a move to Chelsea with a help of his national team coach Guus Hiddink.

New Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas could decide to cash in on Drogba, especially if he manages to bring Radamel Falcao Garcia from Porto.
