French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that Galatasaray are considering a January bid for Hannover striker Mevlut Erding.
The Turkish giants trail rivals Fenerbahce seven points in the Super Lig standings and they need reinforcements if they are to revive their title bid.
According to L’Equipe, Galatasaray are set to make a move on Hannover striker Mevlut Erding, who has struggled for playing time in German Bundesliga.
Having started mere two matches since joining from Saint Etienne, the 28-year-old is desperate to leave in search of first team football, as he wants to secure his place in Turkey’s Euro 2016 squad.
Galatasaray hope to sign the player on a six-month loan in the upcoming transfer window, and chances are Erding will be very interested in moving to Super Lig.
The experienced forward did not make a single appearance in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, albeit watching five matches from the bench.
