Things have apparently been set in motion regarding a possible move of Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco to Galatasaray, as relayed by Marca.
Having started out in Colombian second tier with Lanceros Boyaca, Falcao made his move to River Plate in 2001, though his first-team debut came three years later. His numbers for the Argentinian side afterwards were excellent (45 goals in 111 games), though not as much as those he racked up later with Porto (72 in 87) and Atletico Madrid (70 in 91). He moved to Monaco in 2013, but his first season there ended in January as he suffered a severe ACL injury, which also ruled him out of the 2014 World Cup.
Loan spells with Manchester United and Chelsea followed, but the English game laid his fall in fitness bare and he returned to Monaco in 2016.
The forward’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, stated that the 33-year-old’s entourage are working on a deal, though he refused to divulge any further information with respect to Falcao’s ongoing contract with Monaco. He did, however, add that he hopes the matter will be clear in “three to five days”.
