Mexican footballer Aaron Galindo, who recently requested permission to leave Eintracht Frankfurt and return to his home country, had his request granted by the club.

Galindo’s contract with Eintracht wasn’t set to expire for another six months but the player preferred to accept a bid received from Chivas de Guadalajara.

“Aaron Galindo had asked to return to his home country. We wish him all the best for the future, both on and off the pitch,” Eintracht president Heribert Bruchhagen said.

The defender joined Frankfurt from Grasshoppers Zürich in 2007 and made 32 appearances with the Bundesliga outfit.
